I had a bit of difficulty understanding Section 179 property from prior periods.
What's great about it: Great software.
What's not so great: Section 179 Property was a bit unclear
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

EASY to use for difficult transactions

Have used Turbo Tax for many years. Still very easy to use. Cashed in a 403(b) last year and really messed up my tax situation. TurboTax's easy to follow instructions and support team made it a breeze!

I've used TurboTax the last 10 years. Works well and generally answers my more complicated questions. I recommend to others all the time.
What's great about it: Helped me through a multi-state tax situation.
What's not so great: E-file wouldn't transmit the first 4 times.

What an experience...with no experience!

I have paid a professional for several years to file my federal and state returns. It had been so long since I'd done my own taxes, I didn't really understand what was an allowable deduction and what to do with investments, etc. Using this program helped me learn for next year and made this year a snap! Thank you!! Great conversational dialogue throughout the process and easy to understand.
What's great about it: It's all good!
What's not so great: None.

I have used TT in the past and then got away from it as it seemed to be too stressful to navigate. This year it went quicker and feel confident with our return.
What's great about it: Simple directions so you don'y miss out on any possible deductions
What's not so great: Had trouble making adjustment in donation section
