Rocked My Refund!

Hopefully, the instructions for students and first time filers would be simpler.
What's great about it: Very Intuitive
What's not so great: Being a Student and 1st time filer, the terms are too complicated.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Reliable TurboTax

Have used TurboTax for 6+ years now, and it is very easy to use. I did struggle with the Health Insurance portion this year with all the changes, and am not 100% certain we got it done properly.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step process
What's not so great: Difficult to review calculations as times

Like I mentioned above, I've been using for over 10 years. About 6 years ago, I tried another vendors system and it was so confusing, I trashed it and bought Turbo-Tax.
What's great about it: Have yet to have a problem.
What's not so great: Would like to be able to print the e-file transmit successful screen.

Another year, another TurboTax filing

Despite what our elected officials do to the tax code TurboTax provides a clean and clear way to complete your taxes every year. Even when the prompts are not entirely clear there is helpful 'Learn More' links to explain the step. I highly recommend this program every year.
What's great about it: Clear step by step preparation
What's not so great: Scrolling to the bottom of the page to continue can be tedious.

All these tax programs play up "finding" your deductions for you. This is my first year to use tax software. I always did it myself on paper. We didn't find any new deductions, but Turbo did make the college expense deductions easier. I was annoyed by the additional expenses of e-filing for the state.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: Expensive state e-file

An Old Reliable Tax Program... But...

Turbo Tax is THE program to use to file your Federal and State Tax Returns, but... This years requirement to use a PDF program to print from leaves a lot to be desired of. I understand that in doing so, you are ensuring that a PDF of the return is being created and stored, but the previous method is much more desired.
Other than that flaw, the program is as always... SOLID GOLD!

2013 Taxes From KY

I have used Turbo for years and have checked it with another software package call TAX WISE and Turbo was much easier.
What's great about it: It handles all my tax situations, redlative easy.
What's not so great: The number of form that print for your copy when you want the work sheets.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have been using Turbo Tax Software for nearly 15 years now and every year gets better and better. The cost of the software has increased over the years but it's worth it to me to complete my taxes at my own pace and with accuracy.
What's great about it: Easy to answer questions, Audit Checker, Accurate Calculations
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments
