It was hard to understand

A little trickier this year

Turbo Tax walks you through every detail and area that needs review while doing your taxes. We appreciated being able to find the new business form that we needed and were able to use/attach it in the Deluxe edition without buying the full Business software. I can't imagine doing taxes without Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Able to find and use a business worksheet in the Deluxe Edition

blue continue icons did not always work the first time requiring to hover and click again and then sometimes again. Would like better show forms and finds
What's great about it: copied data from previous year's return & deduction assistance
What's not so great: too many prompts
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

NJ mail-in instructions should specify that W-2 and 1099-R forms must be included in the mailing

Much higher refund than from H&R Block

I used Turbo Tax for over 10 years then switched to H&R Block because it was less expensive. However their program from last year did not transfer my figures from the Federal form to the State form correctly thus causing the State to send me a BILL rather than a REFUND. I requested assistance from H&R Block but no reply from them until 3 months later. By that time I had fixed the problem and submitted a corrected form. I don't want to have another experience like I did last year so decided to stick with Turbo Tax. You Get What You Pay For !

I am glad that you are now able to include tax prep for non resident alien, people with ITIN instead of SSN
What's great about it: Now you are including non resident aliens for tax preparation
