Indiana State form.....2 errors on 2 filings

1st flaw: my husband and I file jointly, but in the Indiana software package this year, there was no reference to his Miltary Service deduction on IT-40, Schedule 2.
2nd flaw: on our daughter's IT-40, Schedule 5, her 2012 Indiana tax refund was, somehow, transferred to Line 3, Estimated tax. The state caught this error and recalculated her credits. When we went back to see if it was OUR error, there was no reference to any "Estimated tax paid" in the TT questions; therefore, we had no idea until the State flagged her form and made the correction. Had more problems this year than previous years!!

I had problems from the install onward. Seemed to be alot of glitches that hadn't been worked out by Intuit before rolling it out for use. I liked the format of the screen better in last year's edition. I seemed to have to go out to look for help online more this year than in any of my previous years using this software. I will probably not be using it again next year.
What's great about it: Not much
What's not so great: Had problems from install on. There seemed to be LOTS of glitches and error msgs this year.

2013 Turbotax Return

Would not enter appropriate sales tax credit for Tennessee. I had to manually enter the amount in the form itself. This bugged me because I had no problem with TurboTax last year.
What's great about it: Easy import of previuos year data and reporting organizations.
What's not so great: Tried to sell me state tax calculator knowing my INT and DIV are below that required to file.

Easier than I thought

I've been using tax preparers for years and finally decided to do it myself. So much easier and so much cheaper. It took less time, and no running around with piles of documents.
What's great about it: It really was easy.

As usual an excellent program and seems to get better every year. Have been using Turbo Tax for 15 years+
What's great about it: Accurate, speedy, easy to follow, and guides you through every possible duduction
