2013 Income Tax Review

Had trouble getting connected to the Internet. Had to be the software since I was connected to the Internet. Had to close and restart severa times to get connected. Could not find where I could review the W-2 data that I originally entered. Wanted to check what made up the number for state & local withholding as it seemed too high on Schedule A. No details were provided in this category.
What's great about it: Detailed informtation and last years information to compare
What's not so great: Takes a lot of time

Turbo Tax has been my tax preparation tool for the last 7 years. I have tried walk-in services as well as other DIY software and Turbo Tax is by far the BEST I have used and will continue to use. There's just no better or easier way to do your taxes.
What's great about it: EASY, EASY, EASY

This product has come a long way by constant revision as user comments are vetted. It leads you every step of the way. The time invested is rewarded with as good a return as your input is accurate.

Easy to Use

Easy to use. And helpful links for definitions. It would be nice if the program allowed two free State programs, since many households have two people.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything
What's not so great: Only one free State form
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Wasted paper/ink

Why is it that I had to print out 4 copies of estimated tax payments for next year when I received a refund this year?
Why is it that every time I print the returns the instruction pages have to be printed?
Aside from the wastes of paper and ink, I have been using turbo tax since they were available on floppy disks and although I do hate the added expense of the waste I will keep on coming back.

PROBLEM UNDERSTANDING AND ACCESSING FORM 1116

PAID $ 444 FOREIGN TAX AND FOR SOME REASON ONLY GOT $ 151 CREDIT. DID NOT SEE HOW IT WAS REDUCED ON ANY WORKSHEET. I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR YEARS. BUMMER !!!
