Did a good job

Maybe the Con I have given might not be the programs fault as much as the IRS requirement but I had a number of donations to the same entity and having to do a date for all 10 events of giving was laborious. I chose to add the dollars and make one date and if audited I believe this should be understandable. To have the option in the creation of these charitable giving by asking for a single date or multiple dates might be a little thing, but it does align with the philosophy of easier use. Just a thought. I had a great experience though with the program
What's great about it: quickly calculating my return was very useful

Awesomely easy process

Simple step by step directions and guidance allow me to move through the tax process comfortably and efficiently. Available guides and examples allow for me to be confident in filing saving me time and money.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and there has been nothing it hasn't covered that has happened in our family's life.
What's great about it: cost effective; fast
What's not so great: one thing not explained

enough already with the password stuff.... seems like the password didn't work the second time around....it confused me with ( already have word in the system)??????......it did not make it easier!!!

I have always done my own taxes. I started using turbo tax when the feds quit mailing the tax booklets. Going to library for forms was a pain since they never seemed to have what I needed, Turbo tax is one-stop shopping. Able to get it done quickly at my own convenience. Don't have to make appointments.
What's great about it: Don't have to run to Library for forms which they may not have
What's not so great: Charged for E-file State Tax

Review of 2013 Turbo Tax Program

While the Turbo Tax program is easy to use, it does not provide an opportunity to list items that aren't included in the pre-set categories. Also, the price of Turbo Tax is not competitive with other products on the market. I intend to try another product next year simply because of price. If it is not as good as Turbo Tax, I'll be back.
What's great about it: Easy to use; clear instructions
What's not so great: Under charitable deductions, the It's Deductible aid is not all inclusive

I found the experience to be smooth & fairly easy. There's just a lot of info to get, but that's not Turbo's fault.
What's great about it: Software runs well. No real problems
What's not so great: I miss the videos you've had previously
