Avoiding the TAX Jitters

I really feel confident t every year I use TurboTax. I have been using it for at least ten years. Sometimes doing taxes, even in the best of circumstances is nerve wracking, but Turbo Tax makes this as painless as possible. I have very complex reporting of interest and dividends and I appreciate how TubroTax can transfer pages of numbers from Fidelity INvestments 1099s, etc into TurboTax.
What's great about it: Its the easiest and least nervous way to prepare taxes

TURBOTAX Is My Savior !

I rated TurboTax as EXCELLENT, because they are the best of the industry. I have always completed my own taxes over the years without any difficulty, but the tax laws have continued to increase in volume and scope and become so convoluted that I rely on TurboTax. They have all the knowledge incorporated into their systems and keep abreast of all the new changes. I have used them for the last five years to do all the work and get the best results. On top of that they e-file them for you. What more could you ask ! Thank You TurboTax !
What's great about it: Many pros! Trustworthy, Comprehensive, Affordable, etc, etc.
What's not so great: None significant. Maybe little easier to navigate the categories.

Quick and Easy

The best part of TurboTax year after year is being able to import all the previous years information. With the previous years import of data, there is no re-entering personal data for the family. Having this data also shows year over year which topics you have entered data (typically each year is similar) so I don't forget anything.
Using TurboTax this year took me 3 hours from start (loading application# to finish #submitting forms to fed/state).
What's great about it: TurboTax imports previous years information, this saves a lot of time by not re-keying in personal information
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

For "Do-it-Yourselfers"

TurboTax is great. Have been using it for 6 years now, and every year gets easier. The online community is wonderful, and every question that I've asked has been answered.
What's great about it: Great price in store, fast process, extensive help community online
What's not so great: Have to pay to file State return

Excellent Tax Pogram

Simple enough for someone who has never done taxes before. Would recommend to everyone.
What's great about it: Easy to use; Lots of help available; Simple for tax professionals
What's not so great: If you want to pay estimated tax, you're not able to change amounts unless you override.

I love having my last year's info side by side to this years.
It went very smoothly this year.
What's great about it: Printed Federal Return with State Return
What's not so great: Didn't take me to print state return - only e-file. I had to manually do it.

Love me my Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past 13 years and it is easy to use and explains what to do. This year I had the complication of selling stocks from my company with a loss and it was so easy to do. I expected it to be much harder than it was to add this information. I always recommend Turbo Tax to my friends.
What's great about it: Easy to use and file.
What's not so great: None
