Tax Prep for those who need a little guidance.

Been using Turbo Tax for many years and rely on it to transfer information from last year and guide me through the current years input. A great help for reminding me what happened last year and what to look for in the current year.
What's great about it: Transfer information from last year, does calculations and puts things on the proper forms, goos user experience
What's not so great: needs better synonyms in help for tax terms

Easy Does It TurboTax

TurboTax takes the worry and frustration out of filing taxes. Once you use it, you know what to expect next year and what receipts, doc,etc you should be saving
What's great about it: Guidance, step-by-step
What's not so great: Tax code is too complicated !

It is so easy to answer the questions in Turbo Tax and get your taxes done. The explanations of what deductions will get you the best return is GREAT.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes it VERY easy to do your return.

It was not obvious that you needed to hit the "Edit" button to proceed through the entry of 1099 data. The word "edit" is generally understood to mean the modification of existing data or information NOT the initial entry of that data. Once the 1099 sources were identified, the user should then be led to "Enter the data" for each 1099. "Edit" implies that the data is already there.
What's great about it: Pulled in data, relatively straightforward
What's not so great: How/where to manually enter 1099 data was not obvious - "Edit" does not mean "Enter data here"

Friendly Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 7 years and I love the way it asks me the pertinent questions and then magically puts together my return. I feel turbo tax is one of the friendliest programs I have used and with the IRS involved, I feel very confident my returns are 100% accurate. Turbo Tax is working for YOU, not a company or a salary. It also gives you the option of working on your taxes at your convenience.
What's great about it: I can submit my return with the utmost confidence that all areas are covered.
What's not so great: Not one thing
