great product

great product I have been using Turbo-Tax for 5 or more years. I had one glitch the first year they did importing. I am not sure if it was the software or me. anyway I still use TurboTax and look forward to doing my taxes each year.
What's great about it: the step by step feature

Best tax product on the market

I have used TurboTax before Intuit bought it and will continue to use it for many years.
What's great about it: Easy to use so anyone can use it and at the right price.
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Where am I

Still don't know if the E-file went through. Got hung up on the PIN entry page, decided to print and mail in. No confirmation on whether my Credit card had been charged for E-filling or not or whether C-card was charge for my amount owed to Feds.
What's great about it: easy to follow data entry
What's not so great: E-file ,very confusing

Amazing

Used to use another online Tax preparation software for years. TurboTax is much easier and no hidden fees. The other online software ended up costing more that TurboTax because of all the hidden backup fees and next years tax record retrieval fees.
What's great about it: Easy to use and Thorough

As noted above, I would prefer to have Turbotax updates performed at the start of the tax filing effort, not the end of it which occurred for finding credit for state sales taxes paid. Another problem was not finding a way to download the 1099-R from my pension provider, necessitating manual submission.
I have used Turbotax for the last 7 years and rely on it.
What's great about it: Walked me through the necessary submissions well, except for....see below
What's not so great: I could not download data from my existing pension provider, and would prefer updates at the beginning, not at end.

TurboTax great again

I've used TurboTax(TT) since the late 80s when if got my first IBM XT clone. Its always done a great job. Several times I've had complicated tax situations and had my return done professionally. I used TT to .prepare the data. Its checked out great. The interview method is easy, but slow. I just fill out the forms.
eFiling is a piece of cake, if I have last years return on my computer.
What's great about it: TT is easy to use, does lots of internal checking, gives me great results.
What's not so great: I would like to import data from a second Planning Return for next year into next year's return..

pa state did not receive my schedule c gambling wins and losses it took me months and a lot of paper work to get my refund. iwas not happy with turbo taxin 2012

What's not so great: Larger print would be helpfull
