Love This Program

TurboTax Deluxe works great for me. I love how you can look at alternative ways of filing. Just didn't like not getting info on income limits or expense thresholds before accumulating data that ended up being irrelevant. Also, the "Its Deductible" sure could use a few more standard items in dishware and apparel - but it makes donations of goods a whole lot better than just guessing.
What's great about it: works great, is very flexible
What's not so great: leads you into irrelevant sections

Everything was laid out so well I just simply did NOT have any problem with the questions for answering them. Again easy to use.

2014 TurboTax Review

Printing menu needs to be clearer. Is it preview print at start of menu. After few more clicks the Tax return file copy can be printed. Need to be able to print final without going through previews.
Line 36 font size needs to be increased to read comment.
What's great about it: EZ too use
What's not so great: Printing could be easier. Am I printing review/my copy or filing copy. Need to click once for requirement.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Product

Did my taxes in less than an hour. Could not be an easier way to complete your tax forms and guaranty accurate. Loved it.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Questions easy to answer and spelled out nicely
What's not so great: As common as HSA's are did not bring that out had to hunt.

SSA question not answered

I submitted a question re SSA employer ID number and filling in line 20a and 20b of the 1040. I did not receive a W2 it was a 1099. Turbo tax did not fill in these lines and when I submitted for efile the error came up asking for the employers ID number for form 1040. There is none. Should I have claimed my SSA income somewhere else? If so where? IRS will audit me if these lines are not completed but there is NO employers ID #. Previous answer was not an answer.

quick, easy, accurate

I keep pretty accurate records of our financial obligations and their tax implications, and Turbo Tax makes it easy to plug that information in prepare my taxes quickly. I'm a busy with work and 2 kids so getting such a complex task done with the help of Turbo Tax's preparation tools is invaluable.
What's great about it: comprehensiveness, ease-of-use
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments
