Good, but .....

I've been using TurboTax for almost a decade and have always been happy. For a couple years I tried H&R Block, but switched back because I kept having to fight the program because of a consistent glitch that wouldn't let me file correctly. This year it's TurboTax that's giving me a glitch (thankfully a much more minor one). Still I find it very annoying to have to enter false information on my taxes because a programmer made the minimum allowed value '1' where it should be '0'. Even more annoying is trying to track down where to report it. "Give Feedback" and "Report a Problem" should be buttons on the main page, but I couldn't even find them. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.
What's great about it: Still pretty reliable and works mostly as it should
What's not so great: I found a glitch and there was no obvious & easy way to report it

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and have recommended it to family and friends. It is very easy to use and covers every possible deduction. I once visited a popular tax preparation company for comparison and the so-called "tax expert" was basically filling in the spaces on the form exactly like I did at home. I never went back and have stayed with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, covers all areas, updated
What's not so great: Kept telling me I had an error when I didn't

I live in an assisted retirement community. Not having to travel to get my taxes done is wonderful.

I bought this program, but I wasn't expecting a lot...boy was I mistaken! To think I actually paid someone in years past!
The program is really user friendly and I actually liked it BETTER than having my taxes done...you don't have to worry so much about if you forgot to bring something with you, or forgot to tell the preparer something. You just take your time, find out all the pertinent info that is asked of you, in the convenience of your own home, and come back to it at your leisure. Can't find some info you might need? No problem, take your time, do your research, find those receipts(you know you put them somewhere) and then come back and fill 'em in. This product was a perfect fit for my needs!

I have used this software for over seven years now it is great. Easy to use, save yourself money, explore further deductions, amazing help menus.
