very disappointed

I have been a turbo tax user for well over a decade, but I am not pleased at all with this year's software. I was really disappointed when turbo tax deluxe could not/would not locate and download my prior year tax returns. All were easily located on my computer - in fact, this year's files are saved in the SAME folder location! The electronic e-filing was also several steps longer than last year as we needed to redo pin information and reconnect to IRS website, etc., etc. It was simply not the tax preparing experience I expected from Turbo tax this year.
What's great about it: I did like the usual questions and simple walk-thru of info
What's not so great: deluxe did not download last year's info and everything had to be done "new"
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Aggravating

I have been using Turbo Tax for years this years version was aggravating. It had taken twice as long to complete. I could not delete job related expenses on my state return . I still haven't filed it. I have to file it on paper . I will not be using Turbo Tax next year!!!!

easy to navigate, save, edit, review. saved us money that we used to pay a cpa...and the cpa uses a computer system just like turbo tax!
What's great about it: transferring last year's taxes, walking through the steps, comparing taxes from the past so don't miss anything
What's not so great: hope it is complete...saw the tv commercial that says we overlook millions in tax refunds

I like the way everything gets transferred from a prior year,saves so much time entering info. Couldn't imagine filling out forms by hand anymore.
What's great about it: Everything is so easy to do and converted

Weird results

A little more help with form 1116 would be helpful. System kept asking for a value greater than 0, even though the correct answer was 0.
In past years the program calculated the deduction directly attributable to the foreign income. This year I had to calculate the number.
How much the program does for form 1116 changes each and every year. Once in a while most of the form is filled in completely, but not very often.
What's great about it: Most calculation were OK
What's not so great: Had $19000 in deductions but at times program displayed $29,000 ?????
