We have used TurboTax for at least 15 years! We love that TurboTax carries over information from previous years' taxes. As my tax returns have become more complicated through the years, TurboTax has even DECREASED the amount of time it takes to complete.
What's great about it: Carries over info from previous years...Asks all the right questions and does all the MATH for me!
What's not so great: Doesn't come with a cold beer.

Great software

We have used TurboTax for many years - it collects all of our carryover and other data to import the following year, which is a great plus. We have had complicated situations - rental properties, buying and selling properties, nonresident and part-year allocation issues. TurboTax handles it quite well. And we love the ItsDeductible system as we donate lots of household goods in a given year. We use the Deluxe version ... works well.
What's great about it: Clear - great supporting notes to guide you through.
What's not so great: Nothing comes to mind.

Does research and spoon feeds the results!!!

I am not a computer geek---in fact I've been a retired "senior" for almost 8 years. Turbo Tax has removed the anxiety of reading pages and pages of instructions (basically it handles ALL the research), getting my hands on the odd form occasionally required, and even asks and informs about deductions that were not anywhere within my realm of knowledge. It also removes the threat of a mathematical error--horrors!!!
What's great about it: It's" tax preparation for dummies" as well as smarties.
What's not so great: I've been using it for at least 10 years and can't come up with a con.

Simplicity

Great program. Improvements are made each year to make it more user friendly.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Step by step. Just plug in the data requested.
What's not so great: Had to load Adobe Reader in order to print. Otherwise seamless.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used TurboTax for many years. My returns are complex, but made pretty easy with TurboTax. Transferring previous years info each year really simplifies my returns and filing electronically is great.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: none
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have used TurboTax for 10 years. It is easy to use and complete your own taxes.
What's great about it: If you don't understand anything you can look it up under "explain this".
What's not so great: Cannot come up with any cons.

Turbo Tax is fast and easy. I will continue using Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Had trouble submitting, stated update was needed, but there were no updates available.
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
