Poor for part year residents

I have been using TurboTax for over ten years , and have always been happy with it. This year, for the first time, I have no confidence that my taxes were correctly calculated. I started the year as a resident of Massachusetts, and completed the year as a resident of New Hampshire. TurboTax asked me for my residency dates in each state, but still it required me to allocate my income manually. There is no justifiable reason for this inconvenience. Clearly the software developers have handled the basics for the majority of users, while completely ignoring any semblance of convenience for those of us to have a slightly unusual return. Further, the state questions asked of me were impossible to understand. I am done with TurboTax. I believe I'll go back to manual form entry.... it surely would have been easier.

Disliked IA state form

Almost all the forms I used for the IA State taxes seriously lacked any explanation of what was needed. For all the years I have used Turbo Tax, this was the worse one I have seen for doing the state portion. I had to "guess" at what should be entered in the fields on several pages and my answers swayed my taxes due/refund considerably.
I am very disappointed in the 2013 IA State Tax by TurboTax.

Serious holes in on-line product this year.

I have used TurboTax for years and been mostly happy with the experience. Unfortunately, this year the on-line version would not let me print any documents but those to be sent to IRS. This left me without any of the documents I have always used to review my input. I had to transfer to the PC version to get the documents I needed. This took me the better part of a day. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!

Taxes R Easy W/ TT

Found TT easy to use, straight forward and easy to understand questions. The software is quick to load and runs well on an older machine. Remembers where the tax files are stored and loads the files and saves the files where you want. Makes preparing and electronic filing taxes a breeze.

Like always, TurboTax was quick and easy to use. I am very happy with them and will continue to purchase their product every year.

We have been using Turbotax for a long time and have had great success. We are not tax people, who know all the rules and laws, we follow the guide and answer the questions. We also do our childrens as well so more savings there!!

Great refund

The program was great throughout, however, when it was time to e-file it became difficult. There was an error message stating that i had to file by mail or update the program. When i checked for updates, the program was fine. I tried to send it over and over again and nothing. I then, closed the program and reopened it, finally after 30 minutes, it finally sent.
