Easy to use!

I bought the edition with the free state download and didn't realize it would still cost to e-file. Once my payment information was entered and processed the program tells me that my return does not qualify for state efile because it used additional forms. That would've been good to know before I paid for something I couldn't use. :/

Thank you! I was nervous about doing my taxes on my own for the first time, but your program was very easy to use and I was able to file my taxes in under an hour. I will definitely use your program again next year.

I've used TurboTax to complete my taxes for 18 years. Always accurate and easy (as easy as taxes can get#.
This year's software was the same high quality that I've come to expect. Minor issues with information downloads of 1099 and W2 information #performance) and paying for the e-file seems slow as well.
I realize that some states don't require tax filing, but why not sell a version that includes the price of the state filing in the sales price?

Problems for MAC

I had many difficulties with program using my MacBook Pro. No obvious way to call for help. Following instructions, checked for updates of forms (early March) and recurrently messages came up saying forms would be available soon. When that got sorted out, couldn't e file due to "validation" problems. These didn't get resolved by the center staff, but rather by others in the "community" who should get royalties!

I was not looking forward to this tax season because it was a bit more complicated than years past. TurboTax made it a breeze and I was relieved to file and move on. Thanks again for the great product! I have now used you guys for 8 years in a row and could not be happier.

I'm using TurboTax for last 17 years. I have no financial education, but easily do my family's taxes, including the complicated situations (small business, home ownership, foreign income, etc.). Thank you, guys, for providing me with such user-friendly tool!!!

2013 Fed 1040 Tax Return

• I have used Turbo Tax annually for 10+ years.
- Contributions: Why not enter the Organization name, address and description at the same time rather than later asking for the address after already entering the other information? Also why not alphabetize the organization names for ease of entry..
- It would be nice if one could print the inputs for each category as you proceed through the question/answer phase of entering Federal information. For example, show the mileage AND the $ amount on the same summary so one can relate the two.
• For State Use Tax input, why not enter the Total Amount owed rather than asking for each individual entry for (in my case) 65 items? Not worth my time entering 65 items!
• It would be nice if there was a guidebook on using the Turbo Tax program with the Questions laid out the way the program asks.
• I have my own Excel Worksheets maintained all year long and use them to check the Turbo Tax result at tax time. If I did not do that, I would not have confidence in Turbo Tax results.

Easiest Return Ever

My financial experience is limited, but with Turbo Tax, even I feel comfortable filing my own taxes. I have several deductions, but Turbo Tax literally takes me through every single possibility and has super awesome help menus if I'm uncertain about definitions. My taxes aren't complicated to file, but it's a nice achievement for someone who doesn't do this on a normal basis. Very convenient. Even the price of the software is less than I would pay a tax professional. Excellent service and one I will use, hopefully, for years to come.
