Thorough Coverage

In my personal information, I entered a SSN with a wrong digit in the final position. When I was all finished and ready to e-file, I decided to print a copy for myself first. That's where I caught the error, and went back to the personal section and changed it. I thought TurboTax compared this information with the previous year's info on file. If I had not caught this, it would have caused no end of trouble for me at the IRS, and certainly would have delayed my refund.

Turbo Tax gets easier to use every year. I really like the checklist for donated items. The included amount of what items are worth takes all of the headache out of this step.

Technology!

I think back to the solid weekends that my dad would be in his den while sweating over the taxes. It made me scared to be an adult. Luckily now that I am, I live in the age of Turbo Tax. I did all my taxes while doing laundry...over the course of an afternoon. Thank you Turbo Tax!

Some confusion

This is the 3rd time I have prepared my own return - and I LOVE doing it - Turbo Tax is user friendly and actually provides a feeling of confidence during the preparation and at the finish of the preparation. There are two areas that I feel could be improved - although you can" extract" financial information from investment companies - reading the wording on the investment document and the words on Turbo Tax often leave me puzzled as to what is really being asked - sometimes I click and hope for the best answer.
Secondly, why is there a fee for the state tax return? If I perform it directly on the state website, there is no fee??
