Too easy!

The step by step instruction format made the process quick and easy to understand. I specially liked that there is added information for all of the tax forms and what each entry means. If you are not sure of something, just click on a link next to the entry slot to learn what it is about. Also when i did get in to a bind i called customer service and promptly received support and was able to file my taxes prompt.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and enjoyed using it. The software seems to handle most special situations that I've encountered without problem. The last two years, because of a problem of someone filing on my wife's soc sec number (appeared to be a mistake - no accompanying fraud or ID theft apparent), we have been unable to file electronically. However, managed to get it filed this year electronically using the IRS pin # provided.
Two glitches or pains this year:
1. Turbo Tax wouldn't start up without the internet being on. As I started early and kept adding a few things, I wanted to just pop in and make an entry to two and then get out, but I had to have internet on, and launch everything with updates all going before I could make a few changes.
2. The software saved my file the first time, but then when I went to save again, the software couldn't find where it had been saved. But when I went through the process of going through saving it as if the first time, then what do you know, it found the file and then asked if I wanted to replace the file!
Those two things started to be a pain and made me wonder about the software's functioning.
What's great about it: Worked like it has for years, easy, handles lots of special situations
What's not so great: difficulty with starting and saving

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and each year the team produces a simple to use and easy to understand tool to help individuals maximize their return.
What's great about it: Simple easy approach to the best refund

I have used Turbo Tax a couple of times. Each year it seems to get easier. Just read through everything and it walks you right through on income, deductions, interest, and many other items to ensure you dont forget anything.
At the end of the return a check is run, if you have missed anything you know right away so it can be fixed.

What's great about it: I like how easy Turbo Tax is to use
What's not so great: I had trouble with one section, Royalties it was a little confusing

Best Way To File

I've used Turbo Tax for eight years, I feel secure that the filing has been done properly when I'm finished.
What's great about it: Smooth seamless interface.....very smart program
What's not so great: Not a Turbo Tax problem.....just waiting for IRS to finalize their forms.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Price Is Right!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now and it is about what I would go in and pay a tax person to do. They enter on their computer so why couldn't I. I have had ok luck with this program now.
What's great about it: Fairly good program for what you pay for.
What's not so great: Some cliches when trying to post from previous years or to go back to correct.

Overall, this product is excellent and easy to use; however, I believe the product would be enhanced by waiting until all the tax forms and updates are known before it is sent out to customers.
