Lacking

Second year using this product. Easy to use but they don't have it all together. First go through the deductions it told me Schedule A was not available and I needed to wait on them sending it to me. At the end it was there. Also since I filed using the standard deduction no Schedule A for 1040 was printed, even though my state tax needed one since I used Itemized deductions for the state. Had a heck of a time finding the proper file and printing it to send with my State return. A few days later I get an email that Schedule A is ready and can be downloaded, opened Turbo Tax, it never asked or said it was going to download this file. If you know your state tax will use itemized deductions and requires the Fed 1040 Schedule A, why wouldn't it be an automatic thing to print this page!!!!

Worst year for turbo tax.
Its a nickname. Tried four times.
What's not so great: 1st disc did not download. I had to return to store. E file did not work. Stated that needed updates, went to updates

Easiest software ever

Turbo Tax is the best and most user-friendly software on the market. In my opinion there is no other options. It is the best hands down!!!
What's great about it: Navigated me through every step
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good, not perfect

I use Turbo Tax each year. I like it. I recommend it. It's great.
Only one problem I encounter. In my situation I often itemize for state purposes but not for federal purposes (as the standard deductions are different). Turbo Tax handles this well, except it will not automatically produce the Schedule A I need for state purposes, presumably because I do not need it for Federal purposes. Having learned by experience the state requires and needs this document if I itemize for them (and they do look for it), I now know to manually force Turbo Tax to produce it. Turbo Tax works fine, but not seamlessly in this situation. Just FYI.
What's great about it: Easy to use, convenient
What's not so great: Doesn't handle my state return well

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and filing my taxes couldn't be any easier. Just hate the fact that you have to pay to file your state taxes electronically.
