Extremely easy for a dummy

Always use TurboTax

i always use TurboTax and when people hear what im getting back they get upset at me. I always recommend TurboTax the first three years of my tax paying life i payed someone to do them and i had to refile all three years and i used TurboTax to do it.
What's great about it: Always easy and straight forward
What's not so great: Expensive but you pay for what you get

I have use this software for more years than I can count......15-20....I really am not sure. I feed my exact information into the system and it walks me through sensitive areas. The easy stuff I can walk through myself. It is always current and if I should have to file an extension or correction, it is fast and easy. Love this stuff! My whole family uses it and I can help them if they have trouble. Fast direct deposit refunds (or payments in the bad years) are always the case. I have had several small businesses and I've always used the software for them as well. This is good stuff!!!
What's great about it: clear concise- instructions you can understand.
What's not so great: really don't know any....
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

simplest tax filing yet

I've used TurboTax to file tax returns for myself and a few select friends and family for the past 20 years. I have always found it very straight forward and easy to follow. I am a retired accountant (albeit not a tax accountant) .
I always recommend TurboTax to persons who plan on doing their own taxes.
This year I broke a new record for doing my taxes in under 20 minutes. Thank you TurboTax.

Makes doing taxes sooo easy

TurboTax makes tax time a breeze... prompts and suggestions are very helpful. I really like the latest feature of pulling the W2 from my employer - even less to attempt to fill out!
What's great about it: simplifies filling out the forms
What's not so great: could use an "other" category for charitable donations

the simple and easy steps turbotax leads you thru the forms and calculations makes doing taxes almost pleasurable. this is my fifth year using turbotax and have never had a problem. the e-file is great and very secure.
What's great about it: whole process
What's not so great: no complaints
