SIMPLY POWERFUL

I love the simplicity of TurboTax, and the powerful, far reaching thoroughness in how it covers even the most minute details without being mundane. The transfer of information from earlier years makes this easier and quicker with every passing year. I love TurboTax!!!
What's great about it: SIMPLE, SIMPLE, SIMPLE

Please change the order of adding a second w-2. You should be able to add a second w-2 without leaving the first w-2 screen. Very confusing having to answer 3 questions before being offered to add a second.
What's great about it: easy and quick
What's not so great: when adding the second w-2 process is confusing.

This year was disappointed in the delays associated with downloading the updated AZ state form 140.
What's great about it: Easy to use as always!

Great tax prep software

I've used TurboTax for many, many years now (at least 15). I used to wade through multitudes of forms and spend hours doing my own taxes. Only once have I received a discrepancy notice from IRS over TurboTax-prepared return. And it turned out to be my error in entering a deduction twice. Would HIGHLY recommend this software to even the most novice preparer.
What's great about it: Guided step-by-step preparation questions
What's not so great: Occasionally a little confusing at first
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Time consuming...but worth it!

I have been using Turbo Tax for 5-6 years now, and have always had a great experience. However, in the year prior to this one, I made a small amount of money, working on the side........so now I own a business, which makes things considerably more complicated, than when I just plugged in my wife and my W-2's. Although it took me 3-4 hours to try and wade through what I was supposed to enter, I still prefer doing it myself, than trusting my return to some big tax preparation company, who just wants to shuffle me in and out.
What's great about it: Covers everything you need to know and more.
What's not so great: Can be overly complex if you have anything but a simple review.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have used Turbo Tax for years. Tried a different program several years ago, didn't like it at all. Came back to Turbo Tax and won't change again.
What's great about it: everything about the program
