Turbo Tax is Great

Great software for doing taxes. I've been using it since 1995. It is great for covering all possible scenarios when completing one's individual tax return.
What's great about it: Nothing but Pros.
What's not so great: No Cons.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

All in all, I think Turbo Tax is an excellent instrument to help people do their own taxes...especially retired people like my wife & me. My only suggestion is to try and tailor the form use to previous applications completed by us so we can avoid going into areas we don't need. You can just give us the option of entering something that is new and different into a search engine on TurboTax, if indeed we have something different to ADD on.

In general, this is an excellent program for those having limited patience with the collecting of data and filling out endless forms.
Ideal for a lazy slob like me,
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Very difficult to find procedure for claiming a partial refund. The fact is, I never did locate that procedure.

What A RELIEF!!

This was this first time I had ever tried Turbo Tax, and filed electronically (we always used snail mail). I wish I would have done this several years ago!! I was able to do the taxes by myself, without my wife and I sitting at the table, getting all frustrated. If you are not using this software, you're only making tax time more difficult for yourself. I will ABSOLUTELY recommend Turbo Tax to anyone I know who uses the old system, because this is much easier!!
What's great about it: Easy to use, caught potential errors immediately.
What's not so great: None, that I saw.
