I have used Turbo Tax for several years. It continues to do a great job for me. After I have my paperwork gathered, I can get it all done in an afternoon and get it filed immediately.
What's great about it: Quick, thorough, easy to accomplish

Turbo Tax convert!

I have been using Turbo Tax for six years now. I share with others who have been using an accountant how easy it is to enter your own information into the same basic worksheets they use and save lots of money. I know of five people that have started using Turbo Tax in the past few years based on my recommendation, including my 72 year old mother who always used an accountant. She was so amazed at its ease, and commented that she always had to do the same prep-work for the accountant, she enjoyed doing it herself and saving their large $$ fee Turbo Tax is a wonderful product. We have 3 generations using the product.
What's great about it: Easy to follow the steps and get a great refund
What's not so great: I haven't encountered any.

I have been using TurboTax for 3 years now. I am very satisfied with it every time. Before using TurboTax, I was clueless when it came to filing taxes. Thanks to TurboTax, it made it so easy.

Intuit's TurboTax saves YOU the hassle of miscalculations and IRS phone calls by allowing you to enter your tax information, at your leisure (but before April 15!), and providing you with the confidence that you need to make sure you haven't forgotten to carry any 1's. Federal deductions? NO PROBLEM. Multiple states taxing you? TurboTax will help you take it back! And with the option to upgrade, TurboTax is the perfect tax preparation software for the college student, or the small business owner! Not that I'm a small business owner.. but if i was, TOTALLY TurboTax. All the way. I'm out.
What's great about it: Fantastic at doing my taxes... right.
What's not so great: Can't scroll using arrows / page down? Is this 1988?

Easy Peasy

I'm retired with lots of weird exceptions and Turbo Tax made it all easy to get through. The program is soooo much cheaper than an accountant and I was able to finish in a few hours in my pajamas. The program had all the information I needed by clicking highlighted areas of the forms. When I needed it, there were "question answer" sections as well as form views.
What's great about it: Extremely easy!!! Questions, answers and info when you need it; quick forms when you don't!
What's not so great: Might make tax time enjoyable!

I like the way that turbo take you all the way to the end , and keep asking if you left out anything....... goood job

What's not so great: there were none

Excellent user-friendly software

This is the first time I have used tax software on my own. It was easy to navigate and the questions were easy to follow. The directions were clear and the explanation of each step were very clear as well. I am very pleased that I finally tried it. I will be using it again next year if all goes well with the returns.
