I usually do my taxes with turbo tax online, this year I purchased a CD. There was no way to transfer in my info from last year, which was irritating. Despite this however, I still had a great experience.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: didnt transfer in last years taxes

All in all I loved this program. I am not the most patient man, so I started to lose it about half way through. Then my wife reminded me how all of the wonderful people at the IRS will be reviewing our taxs so it would be who of me to answer all of the questions. She was right and it was not so bad! Thanks Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: It walks you through every single detail!
What's not so great: IT WALKS YOU THROUGH EVERY POSSIBLE SCENARIO!

2013 Tax Return

one of the easiest programs to use and if you used it from the previous tax year all of the existing data (name, address, employer, etc.) is automatically transferred. I just wish there was no charge for submitting your state return.
What's great about it: quick, easy to use, no math problems

Easy enough to watch the big game while doing my taxes and worrying that I would miss something.

Quick and Easy

I've done my own taxes forever and Turbo Tax makes it super easy. I love that info is carried forward each year. I love being able to download from my financial institution. A few years ago I made a mistake (just something dumb). The next year I hired someone to do my taxes thinking I didn't know what I was doing.... I also did my own on turbo tax. They both came out the same. Since then I continue to do my own taxes. I think almost anyone can use this program.
What's great about it: yearly numbers carried forward, downloading of financial info
