Great simplified version to work with..We need to clarify the form numbers somewhat in the W-2 and CSA-1099R info areas..or maybe I was the confused one??Took me several tries before we conquered it..but finally with the hit & miss method, we solved the mystery.. Should be much easier next year !!

What's great about it: Simplified format, liked it.
What's not so great: Found it confusing in the Fed Govt. W-2/CSA-1099R areas
Overall I would use this again and again and recomend it to everyone. I remember what it was like doing it manually not easy!!!! Thanks for making it alot easier to do my taxes.
What's great about it: I liked that it walks you through everything that I wouldn't think of and double checks everything.
What's not so great: I didn't like the donation worksheet I guess it just took me a while to get but it was alot simpler last year.
I appreciate how thorough and fairly straight forward the sections are. There were some deductions I wouldn't have known to put in. Nothing beats Turbo Tax for the price, the ease of use, and the level of confidence I feel that the information is correct.
What's great about it: Walked me through each deduction
What's not so great: I put info in the wrong section and was never able to delete it and correct it (in the "other income" section).
Used Turbo Tax, yet again (forget how many years). I'm always amazed at the detail of questions and information requested, yet ease of entering and completing my return.
Perhaps, I missed it but a short print out early on giving details of all the things that routine filers should gather would be a help Also, all the questions at the end seemed to go on for a long time.Culling them down a bit would speed things along. But, for a drudge job of tax filing this was a great route to go.
What's great about it: Questions are easy to understand and workflow makes sense
I had questions regarding special circumstances for last year with carry over this year. Called the help line got placed with a CPA who was very friendly and helpful. I have used this product for several years and have always been very pleased.
Really shouldn't have to scroll to the bottom of a given page to move to the next section. Adding a more obvious and or easily found "back" button is L O N G over due.
Now the fees for just deducting the e-file fees are going up. Getting silly, IF you use those fees you might as well go to a place with a physical presence because you sure aren't saving anything.
All and all, I've been a TT user since the early 2000's, honestly the UI is the biggest annoyance. Not sure who's doing the testing *with you know, real people, not developers* but I just don't see how there's anything but backward slips on the UI. As a last snarky comment, I really don't need to see pictures of people in this program. And if someone does, they should go to one of the tax prep stores.
What's great about it: Same reliable and easy step throughts
What's not so great: The User Interface is getting worse every year and so are the fees
