Data input difficulty

The section for entering dividend data needs a bit more instruction--I'm a minimal investor, but getting to my three payers required several back and forwards to correctly input the data. After that, everything else was very straight forward and I had no difficulty. Thanks.

What's not so great: Entering data from Form 1099 DIV

Such a relief

I have been doing my own taxes with TurboTax for 8 years. Math is not my friend for sure and Turbo Tax makes me feel confident that I did my taxes correctly. If TurboTax weren't around, my life would be way more stressful come tax season...and who needs that!

What's great about it: user-friendly, for those that are not CPA's, quick, helpful
What's not so great: Can't think of any other than I wished there would be free audit representation if needed!

Turbo Tax? Turbo Yes!

This is the first time I have ever walked myself through Turbo Tax software, I've always had somebody else put the information in for me. I'm a anxious by nature, but this year I decided to do it on my own. I was nervous, but Turbo Tax made it so easy to do. The step-by-step walk through is not only thorough but reassuring as you go along. My mind was really put at ease during the re-check phase toward the end, when the program checks for audit probability. Great feature! I definitely recommend this program to anybody. Thank you Turbo Tax people, I'll definitely be using this again next year!!
What's great about it: Easy to follow, step-by-step instructions, thorough.
What's not so great: Pulls over ALL of the previous year's information, particulary bank account #, so if it's changed, be very aware.

Awesome refund!

In the review process, I had added the state initials MN to the state ID and it kept telling me it was wrong but did not tell me how to fix it. After many attempts I finally realized I must go back to the original information in the federal form to fix it. A pop up window with that note would have saved me 30 minutes of frustration.
Otherwise everything else was great!
What's not so great: Had 1 issue with review process.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Preparation

I have used a tax professional for many years, but the cost was getting high. I was worried about filing, but this is so easy to use, that I will continue to use this software for future filings. The price for the software and for filing is very reasonable. The software gives fun comments as you complete sections. It takes a very stressful project, and makes it enjoyable. Thanks for making it fun and easy.
What's great about it: It is fun and affordable... this software is easy to use.

I LOVE A REFUND

WE'VE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR YEARS AND IT'S WORTH THE COST OF SOFTWARE. I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY RETURNS. MY DAUGHTER USED A BIG NAME TAX SERVICE, PAID MORE AND ENDED UP 2 YEARS LATER OWING ALMOST $2000 WITH PENALTIES FOR THE ERROR IN HER RETURN. THEY HAD ALREADY CLOSED THE STORE FRONT SO SHE HAD TO TAKE CARE OF IT HERSELF.
What's great about it: SOOOO EASY TO USE
What's not so great: COULDN'T FIND ANY
