Very user-friendly program, especially when used year-to year.
What's great about it: Ease of completion

I have always had free filing for my state return. When did you make this terrible change.. Totally unacceptable. After using Turbo Tax for 12 years, I will not longer buy this product!
What's great about it: Tax prep was reasonably easy to follow. I have used Turbo Tax for 12 years
What's not so great: SHOCKED I could not file my state return for free. Will not buy the program again!!

Easy to use, but....

this is the 1st year since I've been using the software that I had trouble with e-file.
1. Federal wouldn't go through initially. Had to shut down and re-start turbo tax.
2. Cannot e-file state taxes at the same time as federal taxes.
A little disappointing seeing that I file my taxes around the same time each year and have never had an issue.
Should have included something in the software noting that state would not be available in this release. I expected to be able to get this all done at once. instead I have to do separate filing. Frustrated.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Unable to e-file state refunds

Too Many Problems

This program had too many bugs this year. Error 1603 for one. The it says you cannot e file the state and I just did on the state website at no cost to me. I may just file directly with the government next time and save myself some money. I was very disappointed with all the issues this year.

I was a little hesitant to begin with , but the program was so user friendly that I just jumped right in a got it done in one sitting. thank you TURBO TAX!!
What's great about it: It was easy to move forward. Simple and accurate
What's not so great: Everything was good- no cons!!!

Just as easy as ever

I have been using Turbo Tax to prepare my tax returns for many, many years - since it was running in DOS!
Several years ago, it saved me an additional $4,000 over what a tax preparer had told me when doing a pre-filing review.
This year, I had some complicated transfers of money from Pension Plans and IRA's and it asked all the right questions - as usual.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax asks all the right questions
