I Love Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for yours and won't use anything else. I like that the current year pulls last years information in automatically. It is just a great product, nothing that i don't like.
What's great about it: Takes the pain out of doing taxes. I get my refund in early February
I have used TurboTax for the past few years and the process and information is great. The ease of entering information and not having to worry about missing an entry is reassuring. I will use TurboTax as long as they are around.
What's great about it: easily understood prompts and explanations
I love Turbo tax. However, this year it was very difficult to understand the dual state (VA and NC) development. This must become easier! I was very confused through going back and forth. I would think that the software would be able to spilit my liability.
What's great about it: Interface
What's not so great: Dual States was very confusing and difficult
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved
The thoroughness of the software is great. I always feel like I'm going to miss something, but it really walks me through all the deductions. I do wish that when refunds/taxes owed change drastically from year to year, that the software could compare last year's return and explain why there is a difference.
What's great about it: Makes sure I don't miss something
What's not so great: Lack of a side-by-side comparison
For the most part this went smoothly this year, the only gripe I had is that it didn't catch one mistake I made until the very end before the forms were submitted. Apparently I missed the state wages box on one of my w2's and it didn't catch it while I was doing w2's or any of the other checks it does along the way. I did this over a couple of days, and I had to dig the papers back out to get the info. This should have been caught when I was doing the w2's not at the very end
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: didn't show mistake until just before filing
