I have been using Turbo Tax for about 15 years. When I've had problems in the past the Turbo Tax representatives have always been respectful, courteous and patient with me to help solve the problem. I love Turbo Tax and plan on using it for many years to come. THANKS TURBO TAX!!!!
I love TurboTax, I always use it. The only problem this year is printing the Ohio and local RITA tax forms for filing. The forms have an overprint that says do not file, form not final.
EVEN when there is NO ALLOWED CREDIT taken for Long-Term Insurance on the Colorado State return (Worksheet correctly eliminates the credit if Colorado Tax Due is less than ZERO), the Colorado return mandates the filing by mail of Form DR 1778.
Additionally, some Long-Term Insur. Co's do NOT provide a year-end statement showing premiums paid over the year because the Employer manages the contracted Insurance Agency providing the LTC Insur. But Colorado demands this non-existent statement be mailed in with the DR 1778.
The only way, if it were applicable, of providing these data in my case, would be to copy and mail-in all twelve of my monthly distribution statements, which among a lot of private data, also includes the LTC premium shown for each month. Not going to happen, even if I could claim the credit.
I'm a tax accountant, and work on tax returns all the time. We use a different software at work, but Turbo Tax is so easy to use for my personal tax return.
