Turbo Tax allows you to handle some complex tax situations with ease. It also allows you to work through alternate scenarios quickly to see if it makes sense to change your filing status or if you need to transfer additional income into your IRA to lower your overall tax rate.
For the average person, I don't see the need to use a tax preparer when there is Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to use

I have used Turbotax for a number of years and find it makes doing our taxes relatively quick and easy. I appreciate the review and have confidence everything will be done right.
What's great about it: Ease of compiling the information and filing on line

Been using TurboTax for several years. Helped me to complete very complex returns to standard deductions without any issues. Saved us a ton of money from having to use a very expensive accountant.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate. Complete instructions. Double checked all entries
