Used Turbo Tax AGAIN this year. Can't remember how many years it has been, but would never go back to the old "paper-and-pencil" method I had used for so many years.
My itemized deduction total was just under the amount of the standard deduction amount. I like that the standard amount is automatically inserted, but I would still like to be able to save/print Schedule A. When printing, A is not included in the forms list for printing.
While selecting deductions and working toward the bottom of the list.......when finished answering specific questions and returning to the main list of deductions the screen display goes back to the top of the deduction list. So its necessary to continually scrool down the screen to the next selection. It would be nice if the display would remain at the same position. I hope this explanation is understandable.
I am impressed of this product and of how it helps non-business knowledgeable people like me understand the tax system. It gives me piece of mind to know that all aspects of the taxation process are covered, and that all rights are maximized. Thank you.
Would like to see effort put forth by the tax preparation software companies to raise this federal limitation on filing Fed returns. Even if there is a charge similar to the state filings it would be beneficial to allow additional Fed e-files to accommodate larger count families.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
