Nickle and dime me and drive me crazy

They way the product charges extra for the state capability (per state) and then charges even more to file is the biggest factor driving me away from Turbotax. Makes me mad at an otherwise decent product every year. You can rest assured that I will abandon TurboTax (after years of usage) the second I have an alternative that presents all charges up front instead of nickle and dimeing me (and with substantial charges) along the way.
What's great about it: The childish interface is a little annoying.
What's not so great: Paying for State only gets you a state computation module; you have to pay a substantial amount more to actually file.
I have used turbo tax for 4 years now, and this would probably be the least time I use it, and will seek other brand software. I entered all my information correctly, but it will not exile, it kept telling me to update. I updated 6 times….yes 6 times and it kept rejecting my exile, now i have to send information through the mail. Extremely disappointed and have never had this experience before. I was charged for the state efile and now I am out of that money and also regret purchasing this software.
What's great about it: Worked me through my taxes
What's not so great: Did not file my taxes and I was charged extra for state that did not efile
I almost sent off Taxex with a few major duplications. I import my Quicken file and also import from financial institutions. Quicken did not alert me to this error. Is there a way Quicken could check this and warn the Tax prepared?
What's great about it: Forms and Step by Step Switching baskkkkkck and forth
What's not so great: Import duplicationd very easy to make
I was married in 2013. My partner and I both used Turbo Tax (on the same computer) for 2012, but I could not find a way to import data from both 2012 returns into a joint return for 2013 so I had to re-enter a lot of "stuff" for one of us. But I still love Turbo Tax!
Turbo Tax was easy to use and gives the maximum refunds available. Simple instructions anyone should be able to follow. Uses the latest updates available for the Tax year. Double checks your return for errors.
