This year, just as last year, the software brings forward something called 1040EZ interest from the federal to the state return. This is an error. It causes my state interest income to be doubled. So, I have to go in and manually correct the state return.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use.
What's not so great: There is an error every year in the state software.
I have been using TurboTax for many (at least 10) years. I have never been audited despite some relatively complex tax years. It is an excellent product. I especially appreciate not having to load personal information and comparisons to previous years.

I think most users will have no problems using this program from the 1st question to the end of the return. If you know nothing about taxes just let the program guide you with ease. If you can backup the figures you enter, there should never be a problem. It will calculate what you put in and verify the calculation, but not if the figures you put in to be correct. Check your imput

Everything went well, I let the program guide me the second time and lowered the amount we were to pay. Great program, I have used Turbo Tax since 2008.
