Generally a great program

This is a great program overall. It is consistent from year to year and carries prior information forward. The Q and A format is easy to follow with clarification available when needed. Only complaint is that there was inadequate guidance on how to complete some of the Form K-1 questions.
What's great about it: Carry forward of prior information; fill in the blanks; auto-calc
What's not so great: Inadequate guidance on some schedule K-1 items
Did my taxes over about a month. Was easy to navigate and get back to where I left off. Used search window and it always took me to where I needed. Have been using TurboTax for several years now and plan on using it in the future.
What's great about it: Easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
Overall, Turbo Tax, is very fast and the assumption is that it is accurate. There's no leeway for "creative accounting" and that is excellent. The user can only input the information on the tax forms in front of him or her. Turbo Tax also forces you to think of ways to be more accurate with your reporting; makes you think of deductions which would have been overlooked and omitted. Turbo Tax can and may save a filer hundreds of dollars. It's a Win-Win situation when using Turbo Tax! Thanks for your help. Calm and relaxed in Westchester County, NY
What's great about it: Easy to read and understand most of the questions being asked
What's not so great: If an error has occurred, what is wrong could be explained better
Appears to have went very easy. I had one financial institution that didn't transfer any information; it may be that the amount was too little to worry about (<$10). Assuming the amount is too little to worry about, it would've been nice if TurboTax would have stated that so that I know it was done correctly.
What's great about it: Past information transferred automatically.
What's not so great: 1 financial institution didn't transfer anything; it may be because the amount was too little to worry about.
While it is depressing how much time it takes to click No to all that would not apply to me, it was nice not to have to put up with negative advice like you should have done this or that.
What's great about it: No critque for not meeting expectations.
What's not so great: No calculator showing how many W-4 exemtions equal much withdrawn.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
