Almost There

Every time I want to access my return a screen comes up that says "Keep Up To Date With Tax Law". All I want to do is access my return. EVERY time I have to take two extra steps; view the screen and select no thanks.
You are wasting our time with this nonsense. Whoever set this up does not understand the needs of the customer. Get rid of this screen and next time I will consider giving you a "5".

Tax Preparation Process

I've been using Turbo Tax for about 12 years now and it has never failed to impress me year after year with its very easy, well organized and accurate system of processing and e-filing my returns. It has always come through even with the very complicated tax situations I had in the past. I have not kept up with the changes on tax laws and had always depended on Turbo Tax, and feel very confident that it will handle ably and competently my family's tax returns. I have also once used the Tax Defender and true to its guarantee, it resolved the case satisfactorily without any involvement on my part during the course of IRS investigation.
What's great about it: Very easy and convenient, free federal efiling is quite a bonus.

I had used TurboTax for many years and switched the last two years to a different service. I am pleased to be back with TurboTax where I will stay for the foreseeable future
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use. Confident of calculations.
What's not so great: Would like to undo the transmit function if mind changed "immediately."

No Stress

the new box 18 on W-2G asking for name of locality was left blank. I called the casino - they said that was correct. The turbo tax employee answer said I could find info by clicking on search "above Federal Tax tab" There is no search above that tab. Got answer from the community and input n/a.
What's great about it: Easy to understand questions with easy links if you dont
What's not so great: too many questions about state return-I live in Florida and there is no state tax
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What is up with having to call for an unlock code to file our State? Please change that for next year. It is a real nuisance!

Easy Peazy

Every year Turbo Tax just gets better. We have used Turbo Tax for overs 10 years. It's the only way to go when doing taxes. Turbo tax keeps me abreast of the latest changes to the tax law. Like the fact that you can save and come back to the program at anytime and be where you left off.
What's great about it: Smooth run thru with answers when you have questions
What's not so great: None
