problems with turbo tax

after up date we reran the program and came up with the same diagnostics page as before. kind of left us hanging, do i continue or what first time i felt that either we bought the progam to early,(FEB 14) or it was a bad disc.. first tme problem.
What's great about it: figured tax correctly
What's not so great: had a page of disgnosics, cam up prior to printing.
All instructions and options relate to rental properties. For example, in reference to my royalty income, I had to report where the property is located. My particular royalty came from gas and oil production at different locations. In my view the two (rental properties and royalties) should be separated.
What's great about it: Clear, understandable instructions
I have been using TurboTax for Many Years. TurboTax transfers the previous year's information and I enter forms (W2s, 1099s etc.) as I receive them. I Fill in other information (Deductions) from Quicken's Tax Report in the forms as well. After that, I run the Step-By-Step to check if there is anything I missed. After the Final Review, I file and I'm finished.
They really need to fix the automatic restart after updates. This is inconsistent with the quality of Turbotax. Seriously , this has been going on for years. Time to Fix!
What's great about it: Reduces Risk of Errors and Handles Investment Income Details
What's not so great: Still Will NOT Re-Start Automatically After Online Updates.
I've used TurboTax for over twenty years and have found it to be the ideal tax product for us, saving money as our children went through school and college, and now as we enter retirement age. The only negative I have noticed, and it really is just an annoyance, is when doing the income section, every time it takes you back to the list that becomes longer than a screen is tall, it requires you to scroll down to the "button" rather than going to the correct spot automatically ... I can see a neophyte being a bit confused.
The ease of electronic filing is outstanding!
What's great about it: Thorough, Quick to use, Accurate
What's not so great: Requires scrolling down on long income summary/entry screen
What a great product!! I have used tax preparers in the past and paid alot of money to do it. I decided to start using TurboTax instead. When I compared the finished statements against what the tax preparers provided, the only difference was the cost that came out of pocket!! I am so pleased!!
I have always been intimidated by numbers and especially tax forms. Turbo tax with its straight forward questions gives me the confidance to do my own taxes.
For interest income, TurboTax transferred the Payer's address as the Payee's address. For dividends it transferred an extra item that I could not edit or delete.
What's great about it: Mostly satisfied until this year.
What's not so great: TurboTax transferred incorrectly from Federal to State return
