great program until you get to the printing

The printing system has been revised, requires down load of Adobe Reader even if you have a current copy with a copy of Google which I have. I have been using Turbo tax for 20 years and this printing revision is very difficult, it looks like you are trying to push me to e:filing or have a deal with goggle.
What's great about it: Leads you thru the preperation of return very well.
What's not so great: The new printing is confusing and requires a down load you don't need.
I enjoy using Turbo Tax because it always asked me =are you sure you never forgot item or some other item. It makes doing my tax so easy. Thank you! I don't like having to make up some kind of stupid nick name to fill out this form
For most taxpayers this is a must have tool. If you have K-1s, TurboTax will handle the basics but occasionally you get an error message that is basically incomprehensible and trying to figure out where/how to talk to someone to resolve is basically impossible. And you can't file till it's resolved. This is extremely frustrating. But I will be back with Turbo Tax next year because most of what it does is great.
What's great about it: does most things well and efficiently.
What's not so great: 1. K-1 error messages fail to help you resolve the problem. 2. state filing fee too high
I had a simple problem with entering the amounts for interest data. It took me 45 minutes to figure out what I was doing wrong. No one to call no number. My wife was frustrated and wanted to go back to the old forms from the post office. I will have a hard time to use this next year. We have used Turbo tax for many years But she hates it.
My return was done with ease thanks to TurboTax. 2d return was for my mother who passed away early in 2013. Very simple return, no problems with TurboTax until E-file. For some reason, the E-file signature shown by TurboTax as last year's signature was rejected. Tried another signature - rejected. Checked box to use last year's AGI - rejected because AGI was only 4 figures, not 5. Your instructions said call IRS; there would be no wait and no agent to speak to. Wrong: called and after entering prelim info, a recording said they are too busy so call another day. Next day same thing. Third day, recording said wait for agent; did for 30 minutes, spoke to agent who gave incorrect guidance. He said add a zero to end of AGI; I questioned that because it increased the AGI tenfold and he insisted it would work. Tried it and it was rejected. Tried again, putting a zero at front of AGI, but rejected again. So, after these 5 tries, mailed the return . Point is you might want to amend the instructions regarding how easy and timely it is calling the IRS, but don't know what to recommend regarding the erroneous answer or how a low AGI (less than 5 figures) should be handled.
What's great about it: As usual for many years: Terrific instructions; Easy to Follow; Painless.
What's not so great: E-file Rejection guidance for a 2d return
