No sweat tax prep

This year our taxes have been much simpler so it has not taken as much time as usual. I don't know what problems I might encounter if I have something complicated, ex. in filling out an investment information for Schedule D. I had problems with that on Turbo Tax a few years past. For that reason, I can not give it a 5. I have been using Turbo Tax for a number of years and it has been satisfactory. Have not experienced other programs. Glad we have Turbo Tax to ease our way through. It has made life much easier at tax time. Much appreciated. Thanks!
What's great about it: easy to use. Just fill in the boxes of the 1099's, etc. Takes away needing to think too much.
What's not so great: The easy questioning is too tedious. Use Forms.

Overall, I would buy TurboTax again as I have done for the past 10 or 15 years. As indicated above, I really miss the page which shows the national averages for deductions--medical, charitable, etc.--as well as taxes paid for a person in a particular income bracket
What's great about it: I like the step-by-step questions contained in TurboTax.
What's not so great: Unlike prior years the program did not show national averages for deductions in an individual's income range.

Highly recommend this product, love it, been using it for years. It's easy to use, saves me time & cost a lot less than having them prepared.

I've been a faithful TurboTax user since the mid 1990's and your program is reliable and user friendly. Very easy to use and understand, thanks a bunch.

Simple and Easy

All in all it was very easy. There are always a few confusing parts, usually when TT gets confused about something. However, if you just look at the forms you can figure out what you need. I had a more complex return this year (multiple states, new house, etc.) and TT was able to handle it all very well. Good buy.
What's great about it: Very simple and easy to follow
What's not so great: Sometimes gets a little confused and certain questions aren't clear. It's not anything you can't figure out though.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments
