TurboTax interviews you with so much patience and simplicity and always trying to get you more money back by keeping up with the latest tax laws that we normal people wouldn't have a clue about. It's an awesome product.I have recommend it to

What's great about it: It's so easy and accurate. Have been using it for years.

Solid and efficient

TurboTax worked well, even with a complex return, best when you use Quicken.

After updates are installed, the program says restarting TurboTax. Nothing happens. I restart manually.

What's great about it: This software is so easy to use. You caught a typo i entered on one of my W-2's.

Tax Filing made easy

Had numerous problems with ItsDeductible. I tried importing the deductions several times - every time it transferred the information with different values than I had identified. I finally had to re-input the donations directly into TurboTax.
What's great about it: Turbotax was easy to use.
What's not so great: ItsDeductible did not accurately transfer donations!!!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Instructions, or lack thereof -

I prepared mine and then my mother's returns. When preparing my mother's return, I didn't see anything in the guidance that seemed to demonstrate that I was filing on behalf of another person. I am not a paid preparer, but still expected to see something in the program that would allow me to declare this was being done for another person.
Is this why the Fed return was rejected the first time?
What's great about it: Detailed and easy to understand guidance.
