This years tax preparation did not go as easily as prior years. Had a very hard time getting IRS updates on 3-24-14. FINALLY! Some areas like sales tax did not automatically compute after update. Especially did not like TT automatically computing tax penalty and putting it on the return.
What's great about it: Ease of transfering last year to current tax year being prepared.
What's not so great: Hard time get down loads for updates. Icon on desktop says 2014. 2014? Don't like TT computing 2210, putting tax on1040

After discussing tax software with friends that use other tax software I'm positive that TurboTax is the easiest to use and most thorough tax software on the market. This is my 7th year of using Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easiest to use on the market

I have used this product for quite a number of years now and would not consider any competing product. I have never had a problem with incorrect information.
What's great about it: walks you through all the necessary steps
What's not so great: doesn't retain previous answers when reviewing information

We have to pay for the conveniences we enjoy. Fast, accurate way to satisfy duties of being a good citizen.
What's great about it: Concise/almost duplicate of last years
What's not so great: Being required to pay the tax.

First time user, liked the ease of tax prep and the easy to follow step by step filing. Liked the ability to stop anytime and return to complete.

Taxes yuk!

It is not Turbotax but the IRS that keeps ALL the forms being used to confound the public! Go back to ne page as it was at the beginning. Or, user tax would work best!
What's great about it: fairly simple but complicated.
What's not so great: Benjamin FRanklin would roll over in his grave seeing the 1040 today!

Turbo Tax - Art of the Possible

Turbo Tax has been my tax preparer for a number of years; I have yet to have any issues with the IRS and I am always confident that my return is error-free and that I have maximized my refund or minimized my required payment.
Unless we get the "Fair Tax" and eliminate the IRS, Turbo Tax will see me again next year.

What's great about it: Insures that every legitimate tax issue is addressed if you use the guide
What's not so great: annual event
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
