Had a very hard time trying to figure out why I couldn't download my free state tax. Phone expert very patient and helpful. Now I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to print and save this year's return from the pdf. file. I'm sure it's simple but I just can't seem to get it.
What's great about it: phone support very patient and a great help
What's not so great: there must be an easier way to maneuver through the filing system for seniors who aren't computer savvy.

I've actually enjoyed doing my taxes as I watch the tab turn from red to green is a great feeling!
What's great about it: Better return than when I did it myself

2013 Turbo Tax Deluxe

When doing an error check of the return, it isn't enough to indicate that some line on a worksheet is wrong. You either need to have instruction on how and where to correct this. I had a simple thing like the title of a stock was too long and it wouldn't let me send my state return. It flagged the dividend worksheet but what I finally figured out was that you had to go to the original entry and change that, not just edit (override) the worksheet. Not very INTUITive...
What's great about it: Easy if you know Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Errors are not made clear, nor is it made clear on how to fix them
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Problems with this Year's Turbo

See above. Also, I could not download my last year's tax information from 2012. This has really saved time in the past.

What's great about it: I have used this for several years now with good success.
What's not so great: Can't log out. Can't back up this years return to Cloud.????

Detailed completion of return

Throughly enjoyed this product. The only dislike was that when reviewing my return prior to filing, was that estimates of my 2014 taxes were included. This was not requested during the process of completing my return. Also there was no info provided for why estimates were included without request, or what to do if I didn't want the estimates. I did get the required info from asking the questions and getting the answers.
What's great about it: step by step instructions
What's not so great: estimating next year taxes without info
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love TT! very easy to use and complete a return in literally 2.5 hours!
What's great about it: easy to use.
What's not so great: some of the explanations are confusing. Need to lay it out in laymans terms

Done For Another Year!

Turbo Tax is complete as far as being able to do federal and state in one sitting at the computer. Instructions and corrections give confidence that I am doing things right.
