I have used Turbo-Tax for years now. Some of the changes are not intuitive. However, this year I was surprised doing my kids taxes that the forms 4952 and 8615 are not linked. While doing my first child's return, it tells you to go out and do any other children and then return. However, after you enter all the information in the other kids forms, you still have to go in and print these specific forms to get the data to enter into the first child's return. Once this info is entered, it should be linked and automatically be entered into each of the kids' returns. In addition, some of the questions are asked multiple times in the same return. One question I was asked three times while doing my son's return. Other than that, good experience.
What's great about it: Was able to do this in a short amount of time.
What's not so great: Forms with data not linked.

I'd prefer a much shorter version, in which I could input financial information at the beginning.
Definitely tell me at the beginning that the standard deduction format is being used, and deductions such as medical bills, interest, etc can be deducted later.

What's great about it: autmatic transfer of info from IRA's
What's not so great: didn't let me know the standard deduction amount AT THE BEGINNING.

The cd version I bought at Best Buy would not load. I connected to online help and got the problem resolved quickly.

Had just on issue with the Adoptive Child Worksheet......I have no Adoptive children and this form keeps popping up and could not complete the E-file tax process.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow...user friendly!!!
What's not so great: Had issues with trying to delete the Adoptive Child Worksheet.....could not E-file.

I've been using Turbo Tax for more than 10 years. I highly recommend this product and would never consider going back to my old manual tax preparation habit.
What's great about it: Painless! Easy! Fast! Intuitive! - yes, a pun.
What's not so great: None.
