Easy as Pie

TurboTax made doing my taxes so easy. it leads you through each step and lets you know if you missed something or something doesn't add up. The easiest part was pulling information from last year's returns, although I did have them handy just in case. I had some difficulty with TurboTax last year, but this year was a piece of cake.
What's great about it: pulls from previous year tax return
What's not so great: slow to load initially

Not your best year

Lots of readings before questions, questions in confusing order.
e-file - the text boxes for First Last name confirmations on my system look like a single set of boxes. Not a double, so I kept trying all kinds of versions of my name - of course I was doing all that in the first name box. PUT OUTLINE around these two boxes please.
Been using TurboTax forever - this year was not your best.
What's great about it: Does a good job
What's not so great: compared to some previous years, this year harder to understand, lots more to read and more wasted clicks

i've been doing my own taxes for years with turbo tax. the program is simple, straight forward, and I'm usually done with my taxes within an hour.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: none

Tax Code May Be Complex but TurboTax Makes it Simp

This is about my 10th year using TurboTax and it's the best thing since sliced bread. It makes the horrible Tax Codes very user friendly and easy to understand. Much of the detail entered once is then carried over to future years for updating.
What's great about it: Information carryover from previous years, simple to understand & follow, very user friendly
What's not so great: Can't think of any!

Tax return in less than 2 hours!

Have been using Turbo tax for the last 6 years, wish I had used it years ago. Paper version would take hours to fill out because of all the tax jargon. Turbo tax is simple to use, just follow the steps and in less than two hours you are completely done and very likely with a refund due! All forms should be as simple to navigate! Perhaps Turbo Tax could fix the national debt? Keep up the great support. Many thanks.

It would be helpful if you add a password feature to the tax-return file on the computer, and retrofit to the earlier tax-years' files as well. The reason is that, if our PC's needed to be repaired, would not have to delete the tax-return files before we submit the PC to the shop if there were a pass-word that is secure enough.

Last year a family member used H&R Block instead of turbo tax. It was the worst mistake ever!!!! I really enjoy working with Turbo Tax. Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: user friendly; i love to feel Im in control all while Turbo tax holding my hand!
What's not so great: i thought my 1st state was free. Then surprised my 2nd state was $25! will have to read the fine print next time
