Great Turbo Tax!

answered those detailed questions that are required and the refund or amount due appeared quickly and easily, so you know where you stand in providing you the best possible refund
What's great about it: displayed refund quickly during the process
What's not so great: a lot of questions to answer, but there is no way around that aspect of the program
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I would like it clarified when and if the 1098T and 1099Q have to be input on both kid and parent returns. I sent question to the community but I feel like that is always confusing.
Generally still a great product. I would rather each pay another $5-10 bucks for the product and be allowed to file state for free. Why do you charge and why so much for an electronic thing?
What's great about it: Always like the ease
What's not so great: Want more info about education 1099's up front in personal data

Would not print the forms out for me! I tried several times and it would not work.

Mail in 2014?

I kept getting an erroro message on a portion of my 1040 that I did not have any information for and was not able to resolve it with the help of Turbo Tax. I have used Turbo Tax for many years and I am disappointed with the fact that I am now having to mail in my return.
What's great about it: I appreciate having all of my personal information and access to prior tax returns.
What's not so great: I felt that there was little or not support in correcting errors on my return.

Previous years when you would turn on the program it would ask if you have gone on line to update the program. For 2013, it asked the question near the end of the program when the person was finalizing. Were upsetting for the customer.

fairly easy to use and follow instructions. It would be helpful to show last year's amount right beside this year as you enter each item in addition to the summery page. I don't often remember what was different for year to year and this would be helpful to ensure I didn't miss something.
What's great about it: easy to follow instructions for the most part
What's not so great: had trouble with a simple 1099-misc getting the right info into the right spot to record simple amount

I LOVE TURBO TAX. I HAVE USED IT FOR MANY YEARS BECAUSE IT'S EASY TO USE AND I'VE LEARNED ABOUT DEDUCTIONS I NEVER KNEW I COULD USE.
What's great about it: EASY TO FOLLOW
What's not so great: TAKES A LONG TIME TO COMPLETE
