Overall I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. I have received better refunds than my fellow workers.
What's great about it: Walked me through all the applicable forms
What's not so great: Does not have automatic insertion of 1098-T forms. Time consuming

TT2013- best yet

Each year's TT seams more refined and faster. The 2013 product seemed best yet. Always like the importation of the previous year's personal information. I like the convenience of importing data from financial institutions. Unfortunately it didn't work for me since they were late in posting that information. I always find the forms mode very useful. This year, I used it to locate and add an additional form. I searched for the form in TT, and when it appeared, I was able to insert the required information. After that, that form showed up in forms list.
I also like the feature of filing the forms electronically but filing fee for state form seems excessive.
What's great about it: Fast and Easy, Forms mode very useful. E-filing is great feature!
What's not so great: High added cost to file State Tax

Different this year

Found TurboTax more difficult to use this year. Hard to find place for accrued interest and not sure it was handled right. Difficult to get it to print out just the pages I wanted. After I went through all the steps to file on line, it did not file because I had not installed the latest update. Why didn't it warn me when I started to file? It does keep track of everything and has it all there when I return.
What's great about it: Everything gets tied together and i don't have worrry about the complexities of the tax forms
What's not so great: Difficult to find what I wanted.
