Eventually Got the Job Done

I don't know how or why Turbo tax thought I was a business owner and it was very difficult to undo this error.
What's great about it: Easy user interface, thourough
What's not so great: Difficult to fix mistakes made by user, hard to change or edit items already entered

Great Software for Taxes

I've used Turbo Tax for many years, never a problem. Good solid software for taxes. Nothing else is needed when it comes to filing your taxes.
What's great about it: Data Entry is easy especially if you've used it before.

Not a first time user

I have used TurboTax for several years and have never had the problems i encountered this year. The first time I worked on my taxes it took almost 5 hours, an amount came up that I did not enter which gave me a $4000+ return. Since we have never gotten a return that high I redid the entire process. THEN was unable to enter my state taxes because I was on my part of the computer and my husband's part is the administrator. Again, this has never happened before. So I went to his site and redid the entire process again. I will think twice before I purchase Turbo Tax next year.

Excellence with TurboTax

Preparing your Federal & state income tax statements is becoming increasingly difficult. TurboTax is very easy to use. TurboTax walks you through each area of Federal and state income tax submission preparation process, and provides help and guidance along the way.
What's great about it: Very easy to use & covers each area in depth.
What's not so great: None

Printing

This use to be easier. maybe it is because I have a new computer that is giving this trouble.
What's not so great: I can not print an extra copy of my 1040 or my State form for myself.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Multi state/ simple file

Love Turbo Tax. Especially with dealing with 2 states for filing. Ease of use seems to be better, as more states are recognizing this is a growing trend. Glad Turbo Tax is update on the information.
What's great about it: ease of use at own pace
What's not so great: backtracking on questions when not enough detail provided

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and will continue to do so. It makes filing easy and takes all the stress out of filing. I love that it does all your calculations for you.
What's great about it: Makes filing taxes easy and less stressful.

Fed Great State not so great

The state did not transfer data entered into the interest and dividend portions into the State of MS form. A real pain to have to enter the same data again. I think it did transfer in 2012.
What's great about it: Federal worked fine
What's not so great: State did not
Pros: I bought or sold investments
