Whew! Finally done!

I've used Turbo Tax for years. The step by step process helps make sure I don't forget anything and saves me tons of money instead of using a professional tax preparer. Thanks, Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Step by step instructions.
What's not so great: A little challenging to skip around.

I love that TurboTax keeps me from math errors made by my inability to carry a number properly. I feel much safer with TurboTax.
What's great about it: simple, straightforward, and I can't make math errors
What's not so great: realization of how much I don't have

I love using Turbo Tax. I started using it 3 years ago and I will never go back to those horrible tax people again.
What's great about it: So easy to file my taxes

note that you get a free state form but filing that form costs money; federal was included on both counts

Turbo Tax 2013

Overall I like using this program, it is pretty convenient and easy to use.
However, the one area that could use a major update is the Foreign Income section. It is very confusing and unclear, when you get help it starts quoting items that seems like an expert tax preparer would relate to and understand but too much for the average person. There must be a lot of people that have this section to fill out and specifically on how to use forms 1116 needs to be simplified!
What's great about it: Overall pretty easy and intuitive to use
What's not so great: The Foreign Income section is very confusing and unclear

Easy Peasy

I was able to process my daughter's tax return which got complicated (for me) this year because she received a 1099-misc for services as a coach. That threw the old EZ route out the window and this software helped me make sure I got her the biggest refund allowed.
What's great about it: detailed information when desired/skip known N/A items
What's not so great: none really
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

turbo still top with me for updates and storing past taxes.
What's great about it: easier than the old paper and book brings info from past year
What's not so great: wish it covered state too .........hate to pay more to do state
