turbo tax efile fed n state..no printing. easy!!

Very Slow to Update and Edits are Subpar

The totals you enter (for child care for example) - don't update after entering. The turbo tax application would allow you to submit info that doesn't balance.
In addition, it appears to update some data inconsistently. You'll run it once and no errors are found after an update. Then you'll run it again and it will find errors. The HSA info is complex as well. Hopefully, that will get better.
Overall, product is clunky and slow to update right now.
What's great about it: easy to input data initially
What's not so great: updates slowly, doesn't perform edits when info changed

I feel like TurboTax is no longer guiding me.
What's great about it: It's fast and I like that my previous years' info is automatically loaded for current year
What's not so great: Too much guesswork on my part

I have been using turbo tax for decades. I was using the version before Intuit purchased the program. It is so easy to complete your taxes each year it just keeps getting better.
What's great about it: Everything, the interface is so simple

I had a problem uuploading my returns, I went looking for help, and could not find access to your chat room or a phone number. Finally I did find some help in the community. But I spend an hour and a half, that a real person could have helped my through in 10 minutes.

Taxes Done for another year

Getting to the Worksheets to enter data still mystifies me. A little better than last year but needs some UX work.
What's great about it: Walks you through the process
What's not so great: User Experience of filling things out not that great
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax is Piece of Mind

I own a home, have a home office, and my wife is an educator. I used to pay an individual to work my taxes each year which cost a lot more than TurboTax. I tried TurboTax when it first came out, and WOW! It just keeps getting better every year, and I've saved a ton of money in Prep Fees! Thanks
What's great about it: Step by Step, Inch by Inch ....taking the fear out of paying your taxes!!

Great program - thorough. Needed to call for help and the assistance I received over the phone was excellent. I don't think I've ever had a phone transaction that was both so personal and helpful. This is the first time I have tried turbo Tax and the third progra I have used to self-file. It is the best and I'll keep coming back.
What's great about it: Program is detailed and easy to use
What's not so great: some navigational issues were tough to work out.
Pros: I had a baby
