Taxes Made Easy

I like that Turbo Tax walks you through each tax area and asks detail questions to ensure all tax situations are covered!!! Simply the best tax program out there!!!
What's great about it: Program thoroughness!
What's not so great: There are no cons!

Very good value. Just get all your tax papers together and TurboTax walks you through everything step by step. This is my first time using TurboTax and I will definitely use it again next year!
What's great about it: Much easier than trying to do taxes on my own

The program is great except it seems to have a bug. I wanted to apply my refund to 2014 ES payments. The program never asked. I manually changed the Form 1040 and the refund then showed $0. The printout of the ES Forms still had total amount for each quarter. I will compensate when ES Tax payments are due. This has not been the case in the past.
What's great about it: Leads your peacefully through the process.
What's not so great: Seems to have a bug.

Regarding deductions, tell me what % of AGI I need to meet to take a certain deduction. it can be very clear whether or not we have enough to take a certain deduction without going through every last receipt.
What's great about it: organized and clear
What's not so great: it can create overwork in looking for deductions based on % of AGI.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

RMD questions for Pensions and IRAs not clear. Help from intuit put me on my way.
My information from 2012 taxes was not inserted into my 2013 Turbo Tax even though it had been in previous years. If I missed how to make that happen, it was not very clear.
Rated 4 stars this year due to these two issues.
What's great about it: provides all forms, guides you thru, can stop and start again.
What's not so great: RMD questions not clear
