Always a Success

Excellent software that has proven to be successful. It is convenient and easy to use. It covers everything. Great for families with working college students who also need to file.
What's great about it: Easy of Use, Tutorials, Guides You Through Everything, Import Information

tough pay out

Since we have new items to claim, it was a little confusing and unsure in the end if the steps really captured the circumstance to what happened. The options didn't cover it.
What's great about it: step by step
What's not so great: some of the help features really don't explain options or step

Fast and easy

The programs steps are logical and easy to follow. It is reassuring that I do not have to worry about inadvertent math errors. I would like to see an upfront choice between Standard & Itemized Deductions

Adoption Credit Loop

We have spent a bit of money on adoption procedures for which we should be eligible for a tax credit. However, the non-intuitive program produced by Turbo Tax got us stuck in a loop that inadvertently caused us to fill out form 8839 3 times, looking like 3 separate children. We finally got past the loop to finish our return only to get stuck in it again when trying to e-file. The help button only helped us in that someone else who had the same problem figured out how to get out of it. Turbo Tax offered no true solution. AND, we didn't get any credit even after following all of the procedures necessary.
What's great about it: NONE
