Little better than last year

I grew up with the govt forms, and often still use them as a worksheet. Your system does not follow that, but just wish could see (preview) what is filled in where on which govt forms, before having to wait until everything is done.
What's great about it: found most forms easier
What's not so great: still do not offer a display of govt forms to compare before all done

After several years of using TurboTax and the improvements that have been developed, I am fully sold on ease and accuracy.
What's great about it: You do not have to be an accountant.
What's not so great: Some areas become boring when they do not apply to you.

Overall a great program - have used it for years.
What's great about it: LogicaL flow form completion
What's not so great: Difficult to know if issues of concern will be covered later which can cause you to miss issues once out of sequence.

MADE ME FEEL LIKE A "WINNER"

First the program would not run in my old computer (missing IEFRAME.DLL) the disk said. Went out and bought a new desk-top Lenovo and monitor - then I had to learn about Windows 8.1. Also about all the APP's that didn't exist on my old "HP". Finally I got "TurboTax 2013" Start - a big "Win" for me. Also, I was able to put the 2012 tax info on a "Thumb Drive" and install it - this helped the Turbo program import a lot of information for 2013. TurboTax walked me through the process - from beginning to end. I had a problem here and there - your "HELP" info worked for me. - THANKS
What's great about it: TurboTax was able to take me thru the whole process - step by step
What's not so great: had some difficulty trying to answer your questions - Not knowledgable enough

What's great about it: not quick
What's not so great: Did not import last year federal data to this years. Had to manually enter each item.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Itemized deductions section - you still don't make it easy to enter total volunteer miles from multiple trips during the year. I finally had to enter a trip of several hundred miles (actually close to a hundred trips during the year) as 1 trip to get the total deduction at $014 per mile. While checking the forms for entry information, there were more than 15 omissions of data I had entered in the step by step process.
What's great about it: Fairly simple to follow
What's not so great: Some areas are still not user friendly. Much of the date I entered didn't show up on the forms during the audit.

This is an easy program to use. Is less expensive than getting an accountant.
